Milazzo, May 23, 2024 — Marc-Udo Broich, Chairman/CEO of Morgan Flair Yachts, LLC, is pleased to announce the launch of Morgan Flair Yachts, marking a new era for the legendary brand with the introduction of the new models 33 and 55 – modern versions of the famous Tom Fexas Down Eastern yachts & and the entirely new Moonride editions.

Morgan Flair Yachts, an iconic name in the yachting world, has a fascinating history that intertwines tradition and innovation. Morgan Yachts began in 1991, when Leopoldo Rodriquez, heir to the historic naval dynasty of Cantieri Navali Rodriquez of Messina, founded in 1887, and Baglietto Shipyards, met the renowned American designer Tom Fexas.

This collaboration, born on the banks of the Tiber River, combined the elegance and style of the early 20th[1]century Down Eastern Fast Commuters and Lobster Boats with the most modern construction technologies. 

Morgan Flair Yachts product line represents yachts from 33 to 93 feet, including the Dinghy 33, the Lobster Morgan 44, and the Fast Commuters Morgan 55, 70, 83, and 93. Morgan Yachts has always stood out for its ability to create highly customized yachts, infused with a North American touch and 
Down East style, reinterpreted with an Italian flair for interiors. 

Alongside these classic masterpieces of design & technology, for the past 10 years Leopoldo has been working on a parallel production line that re-interpret the Down Eastern fast commuter into a modern “Moonride” yacht.  

Morgan Flair Yachts is pleased to announce that it will now produce these vessels in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Sicily – re-combining all of Leopoldo’s visions under one roof.

Today, under the expert guidance of Marc-Udo Broich and with Leopoldo Rodriquez serving as 
Chairman emeritus and partner, Morgan Flair Yachts integrates modern technologies and German/American engineering, evolving into a brand renowned for its classic yet innovative yacht designs. The new American ownership ensures that Morgan Yachts’ promise of adventure, innovation, and respect for tradition remains more vibrant than ever.
